Kirk N Smith

Kirk Smith lives in NYC and is a working standup comedian. He has performed at the best clubs in NYC, LA and dive bars in Texas and everywhere in-between. After four quick years of college basketball he was forced into the real world when the NBA never retuned his calls.

Son of missionary parents he was raised in Ecuador, El Salvador and Costa Rica. He can be found on tour across the USA, Australia and the UK. He also speak a little Romanian having worked at an orphanage there in the 1990's. Before standup he worked fund raising for a school in Ecuador for many years.

He and his wife raise two teenage children, the youngest is severely autistic. Autism is a common subject of his writing as are ridiculous travel stories.

He likes basketball, boxing, and eating cheese.
