JOSHUA TODD JAMES is the author of the spec-fiction serial THE COMPANION CHRONICLES, which includes the novellas SOME ANIMALS, MINORITY OF ONE, FREEDOM RUN, MAN IN A BOX, and DOMO-ARIGATO, MISTER ROBOTO. His short fiction has appeared in Dark Horses Magazine, After Dinner Conversation, and the upcoming anthology David Gerrold Presents Journeys into Wonder.

A member of the WGA, his screenplay credits include POUND OF FLESH, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, and TAKE COVER, starring Alice Eve and Scott Adkins. TAKE COVER was a global streaming hit, a top-ten film on Hulu, and #1 on Paramount+ worldwide.

His plays are published under the name Joshua James, and he's also published two free ebooks of monologues for actors, BUILT FOR ABUSE I (for men) and BUILT FOR ABUSE II (for women).
