Richard Thomas

Richard Thomas lives on the Isle of Wight with his wife and four children. After spending years concocting stories and tales for his children's entertainment he decided to finally have a go at writing his first novel. Being a lover of history and growing up watching great British war films - he decided to write an historical fiction. Forever the Colours was born. "The idea just popped into my head one day". He spent a great deal of time frantically writing notes, jottings and ideas down anywhere he could scratch a pencil. He then spent the next six months researching the period of interest and putting all the ideas together.

The final result is that his work is being published by Thames River Press (Anthem Press) on March 1st 2014.

Flying the Colours, the follow on to Forever the Colours is halfway to completion.
