He's lead a very challenging life's journey. After graduation from high school, Carlton found himself serving in combat in the Vietnam War, where he won the Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V" for valor as well as the Soldier's Medal for Heroism. Carlton served 22 years in the United States Marine Corps. Before retiring, Carlton also served in the first Gulf War.
After retiring, Carlton went to work for the Federal Aviation Administration, (FAA) in Washington D.C. Carlton was transferred to Atlanta, Georgia where he lives today.
Carlton, having a life-long dream of become a successful entrepreneur, set out to pursue his dream. After two long hard years of working in his own business, Carlton encountered some difficult life changing adversities. Carlton not only lost his business, he lost everything he had. As a single parent, Carlton and his son found themselves homeless and living on the streets of Atlanta.
After three years of difficult adversities, Carlton went on to become a successful entrepreneur, author, and one of America's top speakers and trainers. He is now the Founder and CEO of the National Medication Assistance Program, Inc., a nonprofit Corporation, specializing in medication assistance for patients with special needs, and the financially disadvantaged.
