Daniel Isaac Morris

Dan Morris is the author of six books. Morris was born in Fairmont, WV and graduated from Fairmont State University, and WV University. He served in U.S. Air Force, Strategic Air Command and taught as a Professor of Art at Waynesburg University. Upon retirement, he began a weekly newspaper and Country Music magazine and served as their editor\publisher. Morris’ first book, Grave Creek Connections, is set in a community in Southwest Pennsylvania, a stand-in for Waynesburg.

He now lives in Murrells Inlet in South Carolina, a place known for seafood and tourism. You wouldn’t recognize it from what is written about it. The small-town charm is giving way to the current Yankee invasion.
