G. Arnell Williams

G. Arnell Williams is a professor of mathematics at San Juan College in New Mexico. He is the author of How Math Works: A Guide to Grade School Arithmetic and Algebra the Beautiful: An Ode to Math's Least Loved Subject. He is the recipient of numerous teaching awards and enjoys showing the beauty of mathematics inherent in the subjects he teaches and writes about. Williams holds degrees in physics from California State University at Long Beach and mathematics from Yale University.
