David E. March was born in Norfolk, Virginia, but spent most of his youth in Teaneck, New Jersey. He majored in biology at Oberlin College before earning his M.D. from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. After completing his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, he began his tenure at Radiology & Imaging, in Springfield, Massachusetts. He is an Assistant Professor at the Tufts University School of Medicine, Director of Breast Imaging at Baystate Medical Center, and Co-Director of the Baystate Breast and Wellness Center.
Dr. March has served as a volunteer for the American Board of Radiology during the past twelve years, receiving the Board’s Distinguished Service Award. He is active in resident education and has written and presented numerous exhibits, lectures, and publications pertaining to topics in breast imaging. Dr. March lives in Massachusetts with his family.
