Jesse Couenhoven

Jesse Couenhoven earned his B.A. in psychology at Oberlin College, a Master's degree in historical theology from Yale Divinity School, and his Ph.D. from Yale's Religion Department. As a professor at Villanova University, he has published articles on Barthian, Augustinian, and feminist theologies of sin and grace, freedom, natural law, virtue ethics, forgiveness, and retributive justice (many of his articles are available at http://villanova.academia.edu/JesseCouenhoven). He has recently finished his second book, on the doctrine of predestination.
