Jane K. Dickinson

Jane K. Dickinson has been living with diabetes since 1975, and helping others live with diabetes since 1995. Jane is a registered nurse and certified diabetes educator. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. Olaf College, her Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University and her PhD in Nursing from the University of Connecticut.

In 2000, Jane developed the Yampa Valley Medical Center’s Diabetes Education Program in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, which she managed until 2011. She continues working with diabetes patients through this local program. Before moving to Colorado, Jane was the Director of Clinical Services and Education for The Barton Center for Diabetes Education in North Oxford, Massachusetts.

In March of 2011, Jane became the Program Coordinator/Faculty for the Diabetes Education and Management Masters Program at Teachers College Columbia University (www.tc.edu/diabetes).
