Donna Lindahl

Donna Lindahl grew up as a horse-crazy kid without a horse. At 36 she entered the world of "horse" and became a horse-crazy adult.

Horses give Donna the ability to embrace life with compassion, humor and endless materiel for books. "Stories are always happening." says Donna. "I don't have to make stuff up - truth is a whole lot better than fiction in my book!"

Donna's writing recently took a different twist with the publication of The Favors Game, a novel describing in detail the sexual manipulation experienced by many military wives who remain silent to protect their husband's careers.

"I was afraid to publish The Favors Game." says Donna. "I'm still afraid. This is stuff we were never supposed to talk about. Sure it's fiction, but it's also true."

Taking a break from the intensity of The Favors Game, Donna is working on a series of children's animal picture books to share the cute and crazy antics of the farm animals she calls her "fur kids."
