Becca Barniskis

Becca Barniskis writes poems, books about teaching art, articles for the "Teaching Artist Journal," curriculum, reports, proposals, and more. For the last 12 years she has worked independently as a teaching artist and consultant for a range of schools, arts organizations and public agencies across the upper Midwest most recently: Forecast Public Art, the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Minneapolis Public Schools, and the American Composers Forum. She specializes in developing and facilitating peer-to-peer professional development opportunities for teaching artists and educators, including helping launch and develop Artist to Artist, an informal network of artists and educators who collaboratively develop and share their teaching practice.
