Sarah was born on a brisk fall day at Ohio State University Hospital before the invention of the cellphone. The nurse hung a sheet out the window as a signal to the doctor, who was attending the Ohio State football game, to come deliver a baby.
She is following in the footsteps of her father, who was also a writer and editor of a horse-racing magazine.
Sarah enjoys reading a variety of genres and so far has written a creative non-fiction, a literary fiction, a young adult historical fiction/fantasy trilogy and is working on a romantic suspense.
At one of her book signings a twelve year-old girl ran up to her table, pointed at, "The Secret Diary of Sarah Chamberlain", and said, "I read that book, I love that book." And not knowing Sarah was the author said, "Do you like this book?" It made her day.
Nothing makes Sarah happier than readers enjoying her stories.
