Janet Robinson was born and raised in historic Montgomery, Alabama. With a passion for reading at a young age, she grew up savoring the words and stories of Judy Blume, Madeleine L'Engle, Frances Hodgson Burnett, and Beverly Cleary. It was during her teen years with the encouragement of her teachers and her parents that she discovered she had a flair for writing. Today, she is a prolific writer with her first novel, Stepping Stones: The Journey of an Imperfect Daughter, debuting in March 2013. Her second novel, The Other Side of Laughter, is a piece of southern fiction that is sure to have readers laughing, crying, and maybe even cheering a little. It is set to be released in August 2013.
