Biographer of East Anglian artists and champion of printmaking, Alan Marshall writes largely about art, artists, wildlife and the places he knows and loves. He also takes pictures, designs beautiful books and has a dangerous interest in guitars. Alan provides a home for three cats and with his wife Marion runs the book production and publishing company Mascot Media, which also has an office and retail premises in Stalham, Norfolk. The Artful Hare has been Alan's most successful book by far, followed closely by The Printmaker's Cat. He promotes the work of hundreds of printmakers and other visual artists through his books that gather themed work. In 2017 he wrote, designed and published Norfolk Gems and Suffolk Jewels, highlighting the printmaking talents of more than 50 different artists. All of Alan's books are printed in the UK and can be bought direct from Mascot Media, via an Amazon Seller Account or from a growing network of galleries and independent bookshops.
