Heather E. Hunter

Heather is an educator, mentor, counselor and life coach. She has taught, counseled, and mentored every age from toddlers through graduate students. Her teaching career included; Montessori, Title 1, Inner-City Charter, as well as Private Schools. Heather is a GiGi to 12 grandchildren and bonus mom to 3 daughters. For fun, she and her husband volunteer, travel, thrift, play in nature, and spend time with family and friends.

I became a teacher to help guide children and give them the tools necessary to be successful. I noticed that often parents, without knowing, hinder their children's success. This is never intentional; but parents learned to parent from their parents, who learned from theirs. I observed that the missing link was that parents are not given the proper knowledge and wisdom to raise children to thrive in school and in life. So, after much research and working with both students and their parents, I turned my notes and journal into a manuscript, and here we are.
