Laurie Geter R.N.

I am an R.N. with pediatrics, medical-surgical, and emergency room experience, but it was the loss of my own health due to an auto-immune condition that set me on the path of searching out alternative methods. I had to relearn what I had learned about health in college, and now it's my belief that prevention and natural medicine should be the mainstream approach to health care instead of an "alternative" approach. Now my passion is helping others who are "falling through the cracks" with traditional medicine.

I have recovered much of my health because I do practice what I preach. I find that my life has been a constant journey of re-inventing myself as I home schooled my children for 19 years and took up bookkeeping, writing, tax preparation, volunteer work, and various home businesses.
