Regina Stone Matthews

Regina Stone Matthews was born in Columbia, South Carolina. She attended Therrell High School in Atlanta, Georgia, and West Georgia College in Carrollton, Georgia. Currently, Regina resides in Richardson, Texas, with her husband, David. She has three daughters and six grandchildren.

Like Elizabeth in her "When I Dream" series of books, Regina grew up an only child. She has always had a very vivid imagination, which ultimately led to her love for writing and telling stories.

Since the beginning of Elizabeth and the "When I Dream" series of books, Regina has also authored four non-fiction short story books, co-authored a book with her granddaughter, Haylie, and co-authored an anthology book. Additionally, Regina has written six other children's books.

Regina is an award-winning author.

Regina is the founder of Kids Inspiring Kids a Facebook Public Group that showcases extraordinary kids and how their life and actions inspire kids everywhere.

Regina is a member of the, The Rockwall Christian Writer's Group, The North Forty Storytellers Guild, and The Tejas Storytellers Associaiton. Her books have appeared in the online magazine "Enlighten and Enrich." She has an article that appeared in the Literary Life Magazine "SURA." She also held interviews with the Moms Never Sleep website for working moms and the popular radio program, The Review with Joy and Company Radio Show, in Dallas, TX with host Joy Lewis.
