Elizabeth Connell

Elizabeth Connell was born in Nova Scotia to a large family. Reading became her favorite pastime; opening her eyes to a whole different world. The days the Bookmobile visited her little country school were special - new stories!

Marriage and children were fulfilling and she worked in banking and real estate over the years.

A new hobby in ancestry fed her love of history - researching why her ancestors emigrated at specific times. Currently, her family tree has about 4,000 people.

After retiring, she finally achieved her goals in writing. She is now striving to complete a series of three historical novels: The Accident, The Intrigue, and The Hope.

Several years ago, she joined with 5-8 friends to form a "Women's Writing Group" and has found it valuable, inspirational and a tool for sharing writing tips. She is the second member to publish a novel.

"The Intrigue" is a venture into English History, with Regency style; war, spies, and plots galore."
