A simple story teller with Mark Twain-like humor and insight, Fred was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and now calls Arizona home. He is a lawyer and has been recognized as an outstanding alumnus by his high school and college. Fred has appeared in a golf infomercial and in an article on golf fitness, but he's not a very good golfer. He is a single dad with three children ages twelve to eighteen.
Fred writes self-help books with warmth, compassion and humor. Unlike self-help books that generalize or lecture, he shares clear, concise thoughts and inspirational stories -- from the perspective of a friend from the Midwest who's "been there." Each chapter is brief, with life lesson bullet points at chapter's end.
His first book "Things I Wish I Knew - A Compendium of Lessons Learned Late," is written for parents trying to juggle the impossible tasks of career, relationships and raising young children. Fred's second book "Life Lessons (Don't Learn Them Late!), is written as an instruction manual for kids getting out of school -- the book graduates should receive with their diploma.
