Edward Johns

My name is Edward Johns and I am an author of children's and adults adventure stories and crime novels. My first two books, 'Murdo ' and 'The Race for Flugal Farm', began life as bedtime stories for my eldest daughter, who is mad about animals and wanted adventure stories about a wonderful hero dog and her beloved horses. As she got older I decided to turn them into novels. Any feedback that I have received from people who have read them, and they range from children right up to grandparents, has been excellent, and this makes the writing process so much more rewarding.

I am currently working on a crime series featuring a character named Harry Travers, who is a professional pilot turned vigilante private investigator. Altogether there will be twenty books. Currently there are three available in the series: Genesis; Sky High; and Nemesis of the Damned.

My latest book, Ascension, is what you could describe as a gothic, horror, love story: Peter Russell is prepared to damn his own soul, in order to enter Hell and try and find the one soul who knows where the love of his life is buried, so he can save her, while constantly running the gauntlet of all the demons and beasts.
