Lisa C. Hannon

Raised in the Deep East Texas setting of her first novel, Lisa C. Hannon has been published in newspapers from the Dallas Morning News to the Denver Post, and from the Madisonville Meteor to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

That first novel, "This Little Pig, A Flak Anders Mystery," is available on Amazon.com in both print and Kindle versions. You will also find compilations of her humorous and opinion columns, first published in newspapers across Texas, "Thinking Out Loud," and "Still Thinking Out Loud."

In her eclectic career, she's worked as a managing editor (three times) an assistant librarian, a flight attendant, a grant writer, a fitness center manager and among other less savory occupations, an oilfield assistant controller, a consultant and a carnival ride operator.

Her awards include honors from the Texas Gulf Press Association for serious and humorous articles, and the national Telly Award for scriptwriting for a documentary on the U.S. Army.

She lives smack dab in the middle of the United States with the love of her life, the one she calls her "current and final" husband and a cat named Egg.
