Mark Adrian Groenewold

1992 was the year I arrived in rural Ishikawa in Japan. I met a karate teacher there who would change my life. His name is Taniguchi-Sensei. He is my teacher, my mentor, my coach, my source of sage advice and boundless humour, and my friend. Come with me on my journey from white belt and beyond in a traditional Japanese dojo.
