Russell C. Brennan

Russell is an established Multi-Platform Artist (Geisha) from London who has made a dent in all the arts, often setting new trends but writing has always been his first love.

Before turning 16 he got a job as a D.J at night whilst during the day learning the ropes at ATV Television under the guidance of the late great TV impresario Lord Lew Grade, after impressing him with some early scripts he sold his first film script at 17 and also got paid for a TV pilot.

He then managed 'Music Master' record shop making it extremely successful. Around this time he got noticed by an international agency and began to D.J. all around Europe eventually becoming the No.1 D.J. in Scandinavia.

He then met and married British pop singer 'Eleanor Rigby' and changed his career track to become a songwriter/ record producer for her. He has now had 400 releases worldwide as a record producer including a number one European hit 'You Only Live Twice'. He has had nearly 100 songs releases and was on the front cover of Songwriter International magazine last year. As a teenager, he also wrote and edited cult publication 'Dedicated Follower'. Original copies are now housed in the prestigious Victoria and Albert Museum in London after appearing in a cultural exhibition there a few decades ago. His debut book was 'Music Business Bastards (How to do well in the music business without getting ripped off)' was published in the '90s by Martin Breese Publishing and helped many artists along the way. This has since been updated and released twice more with equal success.

Because he knew his music he ran a successful influential Indie record label 'Future Legend Records ' He was also in a few pop groups like Ministry of Ska, Box Office Poison pioneering new music genres. (Psykick Holiday is the latest one). He is also famous for The Cult Themes trend and produced 7 albums of Cult TV & Film themes.

He also stumbled into photography; doing some highly rated record sleeves, posters and several iconic photos of Eleanor. Many others followed over the years for various people and in 2016 he was signed up by Saatchi Art and a limited edition book ‘Voyeurs Welcome' was released featuring his photography plus lyrics and award-winning poetry. This sold out quickly and is now very collectable fetching high prices. His limited-edition photo canvases are in demand and he is pioneering new art movements Alien Art & Sensory Art and has had some big London photo-art exhibitions in the last few years and has been called an artist of significance. Volume Two of Voyeurs Welcome has recently been released.

2017 saw the release of the novel 'Adventures of a Dark Duke; The Pin' which got many 5 star reviews, plus a mini bookend kindle biog 'Beyond the Painted Smile'. Followed by what he considers his masterpiece novel, ' Kidnapping Time'. He then launched a new book franchise of trivia quiz books starting with 'Memories Are Made of This (The Ultimate Retro music Quiz book) which hit the top 50 best sellers at Amazon in the main category. Vol.2 two followed and then a Mod one and just recently one on film (that includes other interesting extras). Other novels have been released including the horror one, 'Mixing With The Unknown'.& Music biz noir 'Over and Over plus the limited edition Eleanor Rigby Story & Eleanor Rigby photo book (Which both sold out in a week) and a new biog The Box Office Poison Story is just out. He also intends to move into films in the future as a writer/director. (After directing & editing over 100 pop videos). Those are just the highlights.
