James H Duncan

James H Duncan is the editor of Hobo Camp Review and the author of We Are All Terminal But This Exit Is Mine, Vacancy, Feral Kingdom, Nights Without Rain, What Lies In Wait, and other collections of fiction and poetry. He is a former editor at Writer’s Digest and American Artist magazines, is a graduate of a now defunct New England college, and no longer hosts a monthly reading series in Troy, NY. Instead, he travels and writes reviews of indie bookshops for his blog, The Bookshop Hunter. A Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee, he also enjoys a quiet whiskey, a busy train station, and old time radio shows. He often writes from the road, traveling the long stretches of highway between Maine and California, Mexico and Montreal, finding moments of respite in book shops, all-night cafes, quiet pubs, and is likely standing at a train station platform right now, waiting for the next leg of his journey.
