Walt Pimbley has been teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) on the Pacific Rim since the 1980s. Forgiving Michael is Pimbley's first novel.
Walt's a Buddhist, but he'd like to see the Temple rebuilt on its Mount. The Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa Mosque are beautiful structures, and they could use some company. A cathedral with some flying buttresses would go great up there, too. And why not a Mormon Tabernacle? We could even shoehorn in a meditation center, if it's a tall, skinny one. What fun we'd all have together!
Walt's also the author of Kung Fu Phonics. He's taught hundreds of primary students to read and speak English, and he's improved the reading and speaking abilities of thousands of junior high and high school students - using the materials and the methods described in Kung Fu Phonics.
Pimbley grew up in Vestal, New York. He once won second prize in a beauty contest while playing Monopoly. Pimbley graduated Class of '82 from Dartmouth College.
