Ursula Tillmann

Ursula Tillmann, born and raised in Germany, Düsselforf-Hubbelrath. Immigrated as a teenager to Canada, studied journalism in Calgary, Alberta. Worked for Canadian and European newspaper for more than twenty years with focus on politics, history and human interest stories. She is the recipient of several news-writing-, poetry- and photography awards.

"Plato in the Mountains, It's All Greed to Me", a philosophical suspense thriller, was published in May 2017. It is a modern take on the allegory of Plato's cave from the the Republic. In addition, Ursula has published three photography books, one poetry book, the historical novel "Undressing Shadows" about postwar Germany and the non-fiction book "From Hell to Freedom" - Croatian Odyssey to Canada.
