William Markito Oliveira, a native of Brazil, has been fascinated with everything about computers since 90's, when he first learned about programming by looking into IRC scripts. Since then, he started studying software engineering and while working in the field, he has continued taking courses and learned many technologies, from Linux to Java, through practical experience and self-study.
After spending years focusing on Enterprise Integration Systems, narrowed his focus and specialized on Java development, with emphasis on Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Distributed Systems. He has worked for IBM, Ericsson, Oracle (BEA), Pivotal, General Motors and currently works for Red Hat mainly on serverless, cloud computing and Kubernetes.
William keeps a blog about his general interests, which are Java, Linux, Web Services and related topics such as Software Architecture, Engineering, and Design.
