An author and educator, Eva Blaskovic primarily writes novels about the human condition, where her characters deal with adversity common in today’s world, but she has also published short stories in sci-fi, paranormal, and children’s genres. Her upcoming books in fall 2017 are DRUYAN (fantasy adventure) and IRONCLAD (supernatural adventure).
BEYOND THE PRECIPICE, her first novel, received rave reviews from literary professionals and aficionados around the globe. In 2014, she received the Seal of Excellence for the Top 100 Certified Writers at Angie’s Diary Online Magazine (Netherlands).
Ms. Blaskovic is both an accomplished writer and editor of non-fiction articles on writing, parenting, education, how-to, business, and travel. With her analytical nature and multi-faceted background in both the sciences and the arts, she has played eight instruments, spent years immersed in Taekwondo and Karate, and has worked in university and high school science labs.
Born in Prague, Czech Republic, Ms. Blaskovic grew up in Ontario, Canada, and moved to Alberta in 1988, where she raised four children. She currently teaches writing, literacy, phonemic awareness, math, science, and learning/study strategies. She also mentors young authors.
