Jon Degnan

Jon Degnan was born in Glasgow, Scotland on 6th May 1988. He is an actor and writer with over 10 years professional working experience within the industry and 5 years in amateur theatre.

At the age of 17 years old Jon received a grant from Business Gateway and Young Scot to start his own theatre company, Bugsy Productions. He was noted as being the youngest professionally working director in Scotland having directed and starred in Alan Parker’s musical Bugsy Malone in 2005.

He has since written and Starred in his own sitcom ‘The Glasgow Story’ and the stage production ‘Hamlet Vs Zombies’. Jon can be seen at Glasgow’s Riverside museum as ‘Charles’ in the interactive exhibit ‘Windscreen Wimps’.
