Terry F. Clark Sr., M.S., is an Associate Course Director, mathematics educator, researcher, writer, certified personal fitness trainer, and nutritionist. For more than 25 years, he has taught mathematics to both traditional and adult learners, helping thousands of students develop skills in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, finite mathematics, and statistics. His passion for mathematics extends beyond the classroom, where he applies quantitative reasoning and statistical analysis to solve real-world problems and investigate relationships across diverse disciplines.
In addition to his work in higher education, Terry is a certified personal fitness trainer and nutritionist with a strong interest in evidence-based health and wellness. Following a serious automobile accident and subsequent back surgery, he began applying principles of mathematics, scientific inquiry, and data analysis to his own health, leading to a long-term commitment to fitness and nutrition. This personal journey inspired his belief that measurable, data-driven approaches can help individuals achieve sustainable improvements in body composition, physical performance, and overall health.
Terry is the founder and publisher of Faith~N~Fit, where he writes articles and develops educational resources focused on health, fitness, nutrition, and faith. Through research-based articles, videos, calculators, and coaching resources, he seeks to translate scientific concepts into practical strategies that empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health and well-being.
His current research focuses on artificial intelligence, digital health, prompt engineering, quantitative research methods, and the application of large language models as adaptive decision-support systems for personalized health and fitness coaching. His work explores how mathematics, statistics, and artificial intelligence can be integrated to improve decision-making, enhance behavioral adherence, and advance evidence-based approaches to health and education.
