Mari Mitchell Porter

Mari Mitchell is a Life & Relationship Coach, Mentor Author, Radio Show Host and Speaker. She is the Founder of Dare to be Authentic and Dare to be Happy.

Her first book, "Diary of a Hopeless Romantic" is a novel telling the story of a forty-something woman who will not give us on finding love. Mari infused the book with lessons about love and relationships that she learned in her own life and as a coach.

The Dare to be Authentic series are compilations featuring authors telling stories to encourage and inspire. They include: "Dare to be Authentic - Finding Your Authentic Self", "Dare to be Authentic Vol. 2 - Learning to Love Yourself", and "Dare to be Authentic Vol. 3 Learning to Trust Yourself."

An immigrant to the United States from Cuba as a baby, Mari always desired to write about the Cuban-American experience before and after Castro took over her homeland. She did this as a book of poetry, "The Cuban Heart".

Mari lives in Southern California is a mother to three children and grandmother of three. She loves spending time with family and friends. Her greatest joy is being able to lift and encourage people through her mentoring and her books.
