Like many Australians I am passionate about travel. I volunteer with Earthwatch and have had many off-the-beaten-track holidays this way. My series, Marheh of the Silberay, began with my experiences on the canals of England, living and traveling on a narrowboat for two and a half years.

One day I realised that for many people the canals simply did not exist - even though some drove over them every day.

What if it was true that some people could not see them and the people who could were different, and dedicated to making the world a better place.
