Evelyn Orange

Evelyn Orange was born in north-east England. After studying for a degree in music and English literature, she became a music librarian in London. She went on to be a music teacher in Hertfordshire, before returning to her native north-east England where she continued teaching and performing. Much of her writing is inspired by her love of music and theatre. Her first published novel (1995) was Melody for Lizzie, a story of love and ambition set in the Edwardian music hall. This was followed by Secrets and Shadows, a family mystery set between World War II and the early nineteen sixties. Several of her romantic suspense books have been published by My Weekly Pocket Novels, which are now available on Kindle. They are also published in Large Print by Linford Romance (Ulverscroft).
