Barbara Hackett Cox

Barbara Hackett Cox has worked alongside and mentored teachers, artists and arts administrators in various ways over her 30 plus years working in education as a classroom teacher, arts administrator and Jazz radio broadcaster in California, New York and Minnesota. She directs Arts Education Partnership programming for the Perpich Center, a MN state agency, and is a member of the Editorial Board of the Teaching Artist Journal (TAJ). Barbara and colleagues Nick Jaffe and Becca Barniskis co-authored the newly released Teaching Artist Handbook Volume 1 Tools, Techniques, and Ideas to Help Any Artist Teach distributed by the University of Chicago Press.
