Jane Noble Knight

ABOUT JANE NOBLE KNIGHT

As long as she can remember Jane has been fascinated by people. Unsurprisingly, she studied sociology and psychology at Liverpool University. Jane's forty years' experience spans social work, sales, teaching, training and coaching, the last thirty of which have been in people development. In 1999 Jane became a freelance training consultant working with many well-known organisations, mainly in financial services. Jane has headed up national training teams for well-known organisations, mainly in financial services. A project in which she played a leading role was runner up in a Financial Times Arts and Business Award.

Alongside her corporate work Jane studied metaphysics and qualified in complementary therapies such as Hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression and Colour Mirrors. Jane is a lifelong learner. No 'learning junkie' who studies for studies' sake, once Jane finds something of value, she applies it - she walks her talk.

In 2009 Jane took part in a BBC1 House Swap programme. A presenter's question led her to discover the story of the Pilgrim Mothers and subsequently take up the quest to learn more about them and the hidden stories of other pioneering women. Along the way she bought a motorhome and set off with her two dogs to wherever she was drawn, meeting amazing women and recording their stories.

This series of The Inspiring Journeys is a result of Jane's journey. The books are a reflection of this 'calming, kind but dynamic' woman's passion for empowering others by unearthing and sharing the gems of wisdom she has this uncanny ability to find wherever Life leads her.

Here is some praise for Jane and her books:

"If we are the Pilgrim Mothers then Jane Noble Knight is the 'Mothership' in which we sail to a brave new world of loving-kindness, oneness, faith, hope and integrity - values which the Feminine has always represented throughout time."

RACHEL ELNAUGH

Founder Red Letter Days, star of BBC TV's Dragons' Den series 1 and 2

"These stories are very different from each other but also essentially the same: every woman has to fight to achieve her aims. These are the stories of exceptional women, but in a sense aren't we all exceptional, and shouldn't we all celebrate the Pilgrim Mother we carry within ourselves?"

LORELY BURT, MP

Liberal Democrat MP for Solihull, first female Chair of the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Party

"The feminine way of being in business is so different from traditional ways of doing business. At its heart is relationship - our relationships with our selves, with each other and with the planet and this is crucial for our evolution today. Jane has done a fabulous job of collecting and distilling the wisdom of women entrepreneurs that can touch all our hearts and open us to new and more life affirming ways of doing business and being authentically ourselves."

NICK WILLIAMS

Best-selling author of eight books including The Work We Were Born to Do

Co-founder of Inspired Entrepreneur

"I think what you're creating is so beautiful. You're an inspiration to women. I read a couple of years back, and it was a great validation to my instincts, that people really need role models in order to move forward in life. Concepts or insights alone are not enough. What people really need, in order to embody change, are role models - people who have done it. That is what you're doing - providing role models."

KATHERINE WOODWARD THOMAS

Best-selling Author of Calling In "The One", Co-Creator of Feminine Power

"It's still tough for us ladies in the business arena, but Jane's informative and inspirational take on it really motivates and guides you! Having had the pleasure of filming with Jane a few years ago, I knew instantly that this very calming, kind but dynamic lady had something a little bit special about her. We all knew she would go on to do something a tad out of the ordinary but interesting. Hence, I wanted to stay in contact and see where her journey took her! This book is a fabulous vehicle for her, and exploring the greatness of her fellow females is completely apt. Jane herself is such a generous spirited lady with an abundance of knowledge and warmth that she radiates. It's no surprise that this is her path. What next, Jane? ... Bravo Jane, we love what you're doing!"
