PhD Owi Nandi

Hi everybody, my name is Owi Nandi. As you can see, I am one of these folks enjoying the many new opportunities the internet has to offer. I like to study different languages, when accessing Wikipedia articles and choosing in the left language menu bar different languages, though some have more the character of dialects. I can assure you that currently I get some reading information out of about 80 of these languages, while speaking a good dozen fairly well. I like social media as Google plus and Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, flickr and Pinterest. I think the internet is a very democratic platform that allows the participants to discuss their views and to understand each other.

I like all colors and tastes of life, be it the beauty of nature, of animals, plants and also cultural beauty. My favorite week consists of a mix between nature events and cultural events preferably in a large city.

My life until now was full of action, although I am not yet on a point to sharing all of it. Concerning my youth, you will find some info in the text attached further downwards.

I think I advanced quite far into science, being also a regular reader of scientific Journals, as nature.com and others. I am reading primary in depth scientific articles in the following disciplines: Linguistics, Neurobiology, Gentechnology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Anthropology, Archaeology, Pharmaceutics, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, Physiology. I wrote in depth scientific articles with moderate to high impact in Linguistics, Systematic Botany taking Systematic Molecular Biology as a guide, Phytochemistry, Evolutionary Phytochemistry, Chemical Ecology.

I did extended studies at the University of Zürich in Systematic Botany, Zoology, Linguistics and Biomathematics, also attending lectures in Human Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry, Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, and Physics.

I love our so diverse and unique planet, and hope to keep it large in my feelings. I adore the cultures in different regions of the Earth, be it in the USA, in Switzerland and Europe, Russia, China, the Arabic World, my second colorful and extremely interesting home country India, Africa or Latin America.

One of my hobbies consists in reading and writing poetry, which I basically do in German, English and rarely also in French. i think my poems have a charming touch as they include inspirations from my scientific knowledge prepared however in a lyric frame setting. I think emotions and feelings are enriching our lives and this is why i feel a strong pleasant wish to share my impressions and inspirations in rather short pieces of free poetic language.

I also adore the beauty of women, that are a rich source for inspired texts and is truly unsurpassed. Erotic life for me is even a part of my thankfulness to God and I believe in those ancient Chinese and Indian texts that see sexuality as a rejuvenating force.

As a Virgo born (Aquarius according to Vedic moon sign) I not only like insurances, stability, Earth products, intellect, writing, botany, health care and human helping but also ordering large data masses. I may say that my knowledge of botany, biocompounds within plants, benefiting targets of biocompounds, determinating characters of Chinese medicine, as well as languages is quite outstanding.
