Jianna Higgins

Jianna Higgins was born in Auckland, New Zealand. She also has an American birth certificate, which probably explains why she feels at home setting her novels in the United States.

When she's not writing, you'll usually find her walking her dogs on the beach or escaping to snowy mountains whenever she can. She believes chocolate makes almost everything better.

Jianna is the author of the multi-award-winning SORRENTO SERIES, uplifting novels about ordinary people discovering it's never too late for friendship, found family, and a fresh start. The series was inspired by watching both her Kiwi and American grandmothers move into nursing homes and wondering about the stories waiting behind the doors.

She is currently developing the SILVER SLEUTH SERIES, starring Alice, a self-appointed Private Instigator of Truth. The first two novels, Atlantic City Attitude and Boston Betrayal, are complete, with Charleston Checkmate underway.

Jianna loves creating stories filled with humor, heart, hope, and happy endings that leave readers smiling.
