Jacqueline Buyze

Jacqueline J. Buyze is a Florida licensed attorney, a professional speaker, and a freelance children's book writer. She holds a B.A. in psychology, cum laude, from the University of South Florida and a J.D. from Stetson University College of Law.

Jacqueline did not plan to become a children's book author. She wrote her first book, "A Story of Lawyers™", to teach her nieces and nephews (then aged 4 to 11) about the work she and her friends do as practicing attorneys. At the encouragement of family, colleagues, and friends, the book was published and expanded into a series.

There are presently two published books in the series. Book 1, entitled "A Story of Lawyers™" was released nationally on February 14, 2012. Book 2, "A Story of Lawyers™ with Views from the Bench", was released on April 29, 2013. A third book, "A Story of Lawyers™ Raising the Bar", is written, but its release was delayed. In its place she released "A Joyful Royal Debut: Presenting Prince George!", on August 22, 2013. It was the first book written about the royal baby and was featured in U.S.A. Today Book Buzz in July, just prior to its release.

Jacqueline has resided in Naples, Florida since 1986. Before law school she enjoyed at ten-year career with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.
