Geoffrey C. Arnold

Geoffrey C. Arnold, born 1958 in Jackson, Michigan. First exposed to soccer during three-year stint in Air Force that included stationed two years in England in late 1970s. He graduated from Portland State University. Started working at The Oregonian newspaper in 1992. Has written sports articles for ESPN The Magazine, Athlon Sports, Alaska Airlines Magazine, Lindy's. Arnold has covered major sports events such as the Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, NBA Finals along with nearly every sport ranging from golf to water polo. He has also appeared on numerous sports television and radio programs.
