Andrea Johnson

Andrea "Andie" Johnson (1973- ) is a Midwestern girl born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She started sewing in high school, learning to follow garment patterns in a home ec class. Her love of quilts was born at an early age and began making them in her early 20s out of upcycled fabrics and clothes. Her first book, Modern Designs For Classic Quilts, was released in October of 2012. Her specialties include quilt and garment pattern writing and teaching/lecturing on quilting and sewing. She also enjoys creating commissioned quilts and fiber art pieces.
