I was born in Toowoomba, a regional town in Queensland, Australia in 1954.
Our family moved to Brisbane when I was young, living in an old Queenslander, a wooden house designed for the humid, sub tropical climate. It had commanding views of Moreton Bay, which were ever-changing and inspired me to start taking photographs of them.
When I decided to become a professional photographer, one aspect that interested me was the taking of panoramas. This was not an easy skill to develop, but I kept at it until my hard work was recognised in sales of my creations.
I also enjoy wildlife photography, which can be very rewarding, as long as you have the patience to wait for just the right shot!
This is the first of a series of wildlife photography books I will be publishing. I hope you'll follow them all and provide me with reviews of my work here on Amazon.
I hope you enjoy Pelicans & Seagulls and are inspired to make your own art works from the outlines I've supplied.
