Dan Mehlman

Some 50-odd years ago, he wandered into a Batman comic book and has yet to fully find the exit. Since then, he’s done his best to balance a respectable adult life with an ongoing commitment to heroic storytelling, dramatic internal monologues, and an appreciation for those committed to making life better in Gotham City and elsewhere.

A native of New York City currently on an extended sabbatical in Washington, DC with his wife and two amazing daughters, Dan spends his days navigating new plot twists as they arise. Rumored to possess a legendary collection of spandex and caped outfits, he remains firmly committed to truth, justice, and reasonably well-structured slide decks.

In his spare time, Dan is also patiently biding his time—hopeful that one day Bruce Springsteen will knock on his door, be in dire need of someone who can sing off key while playing off tempo, and invite him along for the ride.

If it happens to take him back to Australia, that would be perfect. Dan insists he’s already huge there.
