Ben Kniskern was born on November 25, 1954 (Thanksgiving Day) in Albany, New York. He was raised nearby in Delmar, New York, where he graduated from Bethlehem Central High School in 1972.
Over the past eighteen years, Ben has ministered in the lives of many individuals ranging from children to adults. He has spent time as a Christian school teacher, Word of Life Clubs teen leader, church guest speaker, teen and adult Sunday school teacher, T&T Leader in AWANA Clubs, and, since 2001, he has been a summer volunteer at the Word of Life Family Campground in Pottersville, New York.
During the fall and winter months, Ben spends many of his afternoons writing at his desk with a cup of coffee. His first book, "Which God Should I Choose?" was published in January of 2013, followed closely by "Should I Get My Baby Baptized?" His latest endeavor, a historical fiction trilogy based on the vineyard Owner of Mark 12 is nearly completed. The first two books in the series, "The Vineyard Fray" and "The Owner's Son" are both available here on Amazon in either paperback or ebook, with the third and final chapter due out in late 2016.
Besides his own personal, daily Bible study since 1995, Ben has taken classes through Liberty Home Bible Institute and has sat under the Biblical teaching of some of the finest Bible teachers in America during his summers at the Word of Life Family Campground.
