Wouter de Kort

Wouter de Kort was born in a little place in the Netherlands called Grootebroek (literal translation: large pants!) in 1986. He started playing with software development when he was seven years old when his dad came home with their first computer.

Starting with Quick Basic he developed a program that helped children practice their math skills. Then he moved to Visual Basic, Delphi and C++. Finally he made the switch to C# and the .NET Framework.

Currently Wouter works as the Principal Consultant Microsoft at Ordina in the Netherlands where he helps companies stay on the cutting edge of software development. He loves solving complex problems and teaching others how to become a better developer.
