Growing up in the Idaho wilderness, I spent the majority of my childhood outside exploring the great outdoors - usually on horseback. I swam my horse in the river before I learned to swim and we chased my uncle's cows until the bull chased us. Being the daredevil that I was, I’m lucky to be alive!
I loved the smell of the pine needles, the color of the new grass in the spring, and the sound of the little trickles of water as the snow melted off the land. The world was full of possibilities. Nature seemed to sing, telling me some of her secrets and withholding others. I wanted to learn them all.
I’m offering one of the true adventures from my childhood FREE on Smeagle the Beagle’s website. You can get “Black Bear in Hot Pursuit” free when you sign up to Smeagle’s Readers’ Group at www.SmeagleTheBeagle.com or just copy and paste smeaglethebeagle.com/blackbear into your browser.
Smeagle is busy adventuring, but he and I love talking to our readers, so please email us at books@smeaglethebeagle.com – we try to respond to everyone.
Happy reading!
