DeAnna Williams

Forever friends, DeAnna and Karen met in high school. After thirty years of being out of touch, they reconnected in Grass Valley, California. DeAnna asked the question, "Have you ever wanted to write a book?" You'll find the answer in these pages as the authors live vicariously through their new alter-egos, Dot & Vi.

Karen, retiring from a career focused on childhood development and the sweet spot of school secretary, has returned to her home state of California. Filling her life with family, community, and live entertainment. She can often be found with a glass of prosecco in hand laughing with friends... preferably poolside.

DeAnna spends most of her time painting furniture, loving on her grandbabes and conjuring up new adventures to write about. Her husband and two dogs keep her grounded in the reality that although she prefers the life of a mermaid, she is indeed a chubby indoor house cat.

Together, Karen and DeAnna reflect on the glory days of their youthful antics, that much to the chagrin of their children remains locked tight in the vault.
