Kristin Prevallet

K (Kristin) Prevallet is a poet, multidisciplinary artist, retreat facilitator, and time witch who is the author of eight books. For over fifteen years she worked in New York as a hypnotherapist and has authored several books which weave imagination, poetics, and trance practices. K has a MA in Poetics from the University of Buffalo, and a PhD in Expressive Arts with a concentration in ecosomatic poetics from the University of Gloucestershire (UK). A life-long teacher, K taught for many years for Bard College's Institute for Writing and Thinking (IWT) and Prison Initiative (BPI), as well as at The New School in New York City. She has facilitated writing and healing retreats for Poet's House, The Poetry Project, The Open Center, The Bowery Poetry Club, The Divine Feminine School of Hypnosis, and most recently, the Moynahan Art Gallery in St Thomas, MN where she collaborated on a show with the artist Dannielle Tegeder. Her most recent book, A Varied and Tender Multiplicity: A Meadowing of Poems 2002-2024 is published by Nauset Press.
