Diana Kuan is the author of The Chinese Takeout Cookbook (Random House/Ballantine 2012) and a cooking teacher in New York. Since 2007, she has published the popular Asian cooking site Appetite for China (appetiteforchina.com). Her writing on food and travel has also appeared in The Boston Globe, Gourmet, Food & Wine, and Time Out New York, among other publications. She has appeared on the CBS Early Show and other broadcast media. Her favorite foods include dumplings, traditional Japanese ramen, French onion soup, and noodles of all kinds.
