Dr. Anthony Lynn Lilles STD

Dr. Anthony Lilles is dedicated to helping the next generation of believers rediscover Christian contemplation and mystical wisdom in the Catholic Tradition. A Graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville, he holds a licentiate and doctorate in spiritual theology from the Angelicum and is specialized in the Carmelite Mystic of Dijon, Elisabeth of the Trinity. Well versed in the Carmelite Doctors of the Church as well as the Wisdom of St. Thomas, he is dedicated to discussions on contemplative intellectuality. Currently serving as the Academic Dean of Saint John's Seminary in Camarillo for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, he has assisted with the spirituality programs of St. John Vianney Seminary in Denver and in St. Patrick's Seminary in San Francisco. He also helped to found Avila Institute of Spiritual Formation with Daniel Burke and co-writes spiritual works with him. He is especially privileged to interview regularly on Discerning Hearts with Kris McGregor and on Divine Intimacy Radio with Dan Burke and Melissa Olsen. Married, he has raised three children and lives in Oxnard, California.
