Tony B Ratliff Sr.

Tony B. Ratliff, Sr. was born and raised in West Virginia, where his early life included roaming and exploring those West Virginia Mountains and rivers. At an early age, he left home for a period and worked with migrant farm workers in the fields of northwest Washington State. Later, he returned home, finished high school and received his bachelor’s degree from Marshall University and, eventually, a master’s degree from Central Michigan University. His professional career began as a research chemist, later leading into a customer relations specialist. This allowed him to travel to many countries around the world, thus giving him the opportunity to make new friends and study those cultures. Throughout his life,he has been a writer. His works include many short stories, several of which are in his first book, We Fly at Dawn and Other Selections. All of his works, including his latest, a major novel entitled The Hobo and the Dog, are based on real life experiences that are designed to excite and inspire. His mission and main desire in life is to share with you his passion for helping others through the holistic healing power of prayer, pets, poetry and music, the themes of which are evident throughout his works.
